Object description
Ett får och ett lejon, tryckt i färg på kraftig kartong. Varje djur består av två kroppar, med huvud och ben fastsatta mellan de två kropparna, såväl huvud som ben rörliga. På baksidorna tryckt text om djurarten m.m. Baksidestext lejon: "The lion (Felis Leo) The lion is called the King of Beasts, and is one of the most powerful of the Cat tribe. It is to be found in Africa, Persia and India, although in the last named country it is becoming very scare. The Male Lion differs from all the other members head, neck and shoulders and the tuft at the tip of the tail in which is a small daw. Baksidestext på fåret: "The Sheep (Ovis Aries) This model represents the ewe or female of the domesticated sheep which is common to our fields. The smallest of the sheephind is the Breton sheep, while one of the largest is the Leicester breed. Spanish or Marino sheep are noted for the long fine wool they give, while the [oläsligt] variety is remarhable for its long and magnifcent [oläsligt]. The sheep family is a very large one and it is impossible to mention but one or two species.
