Född i Halmstad, Malmö, 19/3 1858 , son till kyrkoherden Axel Johan Åkerman och hans hustru Margareta Christina Borg (1822-1908). Prästvigd i Lund 1882. Död 23/11 1930, Gerdslöfs prästgård. Hustrun dotter till kyrkoherden i Farhult Andreas Borg och hans hustru Nicolina Rudolphina Braune.
